Q:What frequency bands does this antenna cover?

A:It covers 824-894MHz (US Cellular, CDMA, 3G Band 5) and 1710-1880MHz (DCS1800, PCS1900, 4G LTE Bands 2/3/4/25/35/36/37/39). Some 4G bands like B12/B13/B17 (700MHz) are not supported.


Q: What is the gain of this antenna?

A:The peak gain is 3dBi, suitable for short to medium range embedded applications.


Q: What connector does it use?

A:It uses an IPEX (also known as U.FL) connector, compatible with many cellular modules from Quectel, SIMCom, Sierra Wireless, etc.


Q: How long is the cable?

A:The attached RG74 cable is 1070mm (approx. 42 inches) long, allowing flexible placement inside devices.


Q: Is this antenna suitable for 5G?

A:It does not cover 5G sub-6GHz bands like n1/n2/n3/n5/n7/n8/n12/n20/n28/n40/n41/n66/n71. It is designed for 2G/3G/4G only.


Q:What is the VSWR?

A:VSWR is ≤2.0 across both frequency bands, ensuring acceptable return loss for most applications.
