FAQ

Q: Can it be used outdoors?

A: The housing is only IP30 rated (not waterproof) and has a maximum operating temperature of 60°C. It is intended for indoor use only. For outdoor use, select the GL-Outdoor series.


Q: How should I choose between a 4.3-10 or N-type interface?

A: The 4.3-10 interface is smaller and suitable for dense deployments, while the N-type interface offers greater power handling. The default interface can be specified before shipment; if not specified, the 4.3-10 interface will be shipped.


Q: Does it need to be paired?

A: A single antenna will work, but it's recommended to pair them with the same model to form a MIMO system (2×2 or 4×4), which can increase data rates by 200%.


Q: Will metal ceilings affect performance?

A: They must be installed at least 30cm away from any metal surface, or elevated using our MA-01 magnetic mount to avoid signal attenuation.


Q: Why is it labeled "directional" but the specifications say ±45° polarization?

A: Directional refers to the focused radiation direction, while ±45° polarization refers to the direction of signal vibration. These two work together to improve multi-device concurrency.
