Product Introduction
1. Ultra-Wide Frequency Band and Strong Compatibility
This device covers the full 100-400MHz frequency band and is compatible with VHF maritime communications (156-174MHz), aviation bands (118-137MHz), and police walkie-talkie bands (136-174MHz), making it suitable for multiple scenarios.
2. Industrial-Grade High-Power Handling
▸ Ultra-high 50W input power (industry average 10-25W)
▸ N-type connector + RG142 shielded cable (25cm standard) minimizes signal attenuation
3. Stable Omnidirectional Coverage
• 360° horizontal omnidirectional radiation + 90°±15° vertical beam
• Ovality ≤±2dB, eliminating communication blind spots
• Matte black ABS UV-resistant shield
4. Dual-Mode Convenient Installation
Magnetic Mount: Quickly deploy on vehicle roofs or metal surfaces
Screw Fixing: Includes anchor bolts and self-tapping screws (see P3 Installation Guide)
Waterproof Design: Connectors must be wrapped with waterproof tape (if specified in the manual)
5. Adaptability to Harsh Environments
Wide Temperature Range -30°C to +65°C 10%-95% humidity range
1kg lightweight design reduces installation burden
Application Scenarios
Maritime communications: Ship VHF radio (CH16 International Distress Channel)
Emergency command: Fire/rescue team vehicle communication system
Forestry monitoring: Forest fire prevention lookout tower relay station
Fleet dispatch: Logistics and transportation cluster intercom system
Remote base station: Communication infrastructure in mountainous/mining areas
FAQ
Q: Does it support aviation ADS-B signals?
A: It covers the 1090MHz frequency band (ADS-B standard), but requires a dedicated receiver. This antenna is only responsible for transmitting/receiving signals.
Q: Will the magnetic mount fall off during off-road driving?
A: The measured adhesion force is ≥15kg (not marked). It is recommended for use below 80km/h. Screw mounting is recommended for extreme road conditions.
Q: Can the 400MHz upper limit be used for amateur UHF radio?
A: Supported (part of the UHF 400-470MHz band), but the gain will be reduced. A dedicated UHF antenna is recommended for better performance.
Q: Can an N-type connector be converted to an SMA device?
A: An N-to-SMA adapter is required (not included). Note that the conversion loss is approximately 0.3dB.
Q: Can a 90° vertical beam reach high-rise buildings?
A: Suitable for horizon-level communication. For high-rise buildings, the elevation angle must be adjusted (the adjustable range is limited to ±15°). A high-gain directional antenna is recommended.
Q: Can the RG142 cable be extended?
A: Custom lengths are supported (default is 25cm). For lengths exceeding 1 meter, a low-loss cable (such as LMR400) must be used, otherwise the SWR will deteriorate.
Q: Is preheating required when starting at -30°C?
A: No. ABS material remains tough even at -30°C. The SWR fluctuation in actual measurements was ≤0.2 in ice fog.
