FAQ

Q: Is the IPEX connector compatible with UFL?

A: Fully compatible! IPEX is an upgraded version of UFL, and the physical specifications of the interface are the same.


Q: Can the 25x25x7mm size be embedded in a drone?

A: Recommended for medium-sized industrial drones (≥30cm wheelbase). For micro drones, a smaller size is recommended.


Q: Is an external matching circuit required?

A: No! The 50Ω nominal impedance is directly compatible with mainstream RF modules, and the VSWR ≤ 1.5 is optimized for matching.


Q: Does the 28dBi gain require an external power supply?

A: Yes! The internal LNA requires a 2.2-5V power supply.


Q: Does the 75% humidity limit affect coastal use?

A: It meets IP54 protection (depending on the structural design), but it is recommended to install a moisture-proof seal to protect against salt spray environments.


Q: Can it receive GLONASS signals?

A: It is designed specifically for the GPS L1 band (1575.42MHz). GLONASS requires a 1602MHz band antenna.


Q: Can the 100mm cable length be customized?

A: Yes! The RG1.13 coaxial cable can be customized to 150/200/300mm.
