A ceramic antenna substrate and PC+ABS explosion-proof housing withstand extreme temperatures of -40°C to 85°C. 3M adhesive/screw mounting for vibration resistance.

Comes standard with FAKRA automotive connectors and RG174 shielded cables, compatible with BMW, Volkswagen, and other vehicle systems, enabling quick deployment in 5 minutes.

FAQ

Q: Does the GL312 support Galileo/Beidou systems?

A: Currently, only GPS L1 and Glonass G1 dual-satellite positioning are supported. Beidou requires a custom GL315 model (ODM service available).


Q: Will a 2dBi LTE antenna gain affect communication?

A: 2dBi is omnidirectional gain. Combined with a low VSWR of ≤3, it is optimized for urban multipath interference environments, with a measured coverage radius of ≥5km.


Q: What is the waterproof rating? A: The housing is IP67 rated (dustproof and immersion-resistant). The cable connector requires a waterproof rubber sleeve (optional accessory).


Q: Can a magnetic mount be used instead?

A: 3M VHB adhesive is included standard. The magnetic mount requires the optional GL312-MAG kit (load capacity ≥ 2kg).


Q: Are the FAKRA connector colors available?

A: The default color is blue (for GPS signals), but white, green, or purple can be customized to match automotive wiring harness standards.


Q: How is the power supply for an operating current ≤ 20mA?

A: It supports a wide voltage range of 3-5.5V and can be powered directly from a vehicle's 12V to 5V converter or a drone flight controller.


Q: Will the ceramic antenna break?

A: It uses an aerospace-grade aluminum nitride ceramic substrate, has passed a 1.5m drop test, and is resistant to aging for life.
